Soroush Darvish-Ghane, M.Sc.

Ph.D. candidate

Soroush received his M.Sc. from the University of Toronto (Physiology), where he studied the regulation dopamine modulation of synaptic transmission in the lab of Dr. Min Zhuo.  He joined the Martin lab in 2017 to pursue his Ph.D. (Cell and Systems Biology). His research uses a combination of brain slice electrophysiology and behavior to understand the role dopamine plays in chronic pain modulation and synaptic transmission with a focus on the anterior cingulate cortex.
